About

Friends Community Church Compassion Ministry helps church members and attendees during times of emergency or financial crisis. Applicants must be engaged in FCC ministries and attend one of the weekend services on a regular basis for a period of at least one year.

Compassion Funds are raised through a monthly offering, given above and beyond regular tithes and offerings, as well as through online gifts. Compassion offerings are considered designated gifts.

Compassion Ministry does not give out cash. It does not issue checks to applicants. Applicants may submit copies of unpaid bills for consideration in the Request for Financial Assistance (RFA). The RFA and any documents submitted will be held in strictest confidence.

Compassion Ministry committee members are: Jean Pence, Carol Wardwell, Mike Levine, Trudy Rangel, and Tom Patag.
