Vacation Bible School is Coming to Friends Community Church!
SPECIAL OFFERING FOR UPCOMING MISSION TRIP
April 30 - June 18
As a church community, we are excited to announce that this summer a team from our church will be going on a mission trip to Kenya with Locking Arms, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to foster self-reliant, sustainable change in the lives of hurting people around the globe. Our Children’s Ministry program has the chance to be a vital part of this mission and to partner them in this endeavor. We will be holding a special offering during Sunday school for the upcoming trip between April 30 - June 18. All the money collected will go directly towards purchasing supplies for local classrooms and teachers in Kenya. For more details click the link above.
Children’s Ministry is a memorable experience of fellowship for our children to ultimately grow in Christ through STEPS: Service to others, Teaching the Word, Encouragement, Praise and Success in Christ. Contact our Children's Director, Tracie, for more information.
Dedicated volunteers are always needed for weekly services and special events. Whether you're interested in teaching classes or caring for little ones, contact Tracie.
This is a Special Needs Ministry that provides a gospel-centered, inclusive environment for individuals with specific needs.
We want to help any child or student who faces unique challenges related to physical, mental, behavioral, medical or emotional needs.
Buddies are provided for 1st service on Sunday mornings.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if interested in helping us with this program.
5-6:15PM in the Children's Building
Drop off your Pre-k - 3rd grade student in Nursery 3 for a fun and engaging bible experience with trained and caring leaders. Kids will discover how God's word connects to their daily lives through bible stories, crafts, and activity pages. Please pick up your children after service.
9-10:15AM and 10:30-11:45AM in the Children's Building
Pre-Kinder-5th graders should be checked into their age-appropriate classrooms in the Children’s Building at the start of each service. Each service will begin with energetic, group worship led by a talented and trained team. Following worship, kids will return to their classrooms for Bible lessons, activities and crafts designed specifically for their age group. Light snacks are also provided during each service.
If you plan to attend both services on Sundays, feel free to leave your kids in the Children’s program for the entire time. Children’s lessons and activities are different from one service to the next to keep kids engaged and learning. Please be sure to sign out your child from his or her classroom at pick-up.
Three nurseries (newborn to 3 and 1/2 yrs. old) are offered during all three services. Please drop off your babies before service. Check-in for Nursery 1 and 2 is at the nursery counter in the front lobby. Nursery 3 (2 ½ - 4) check-in at the third nursery. Loving volunteers are waiting to care for your little ones.
