Our ministry purpose/goals:
The goal of Children’s Ministry at Friends Community Church is to touch the hearts of children by helping them grow in the knowledge of Christ.
Our ultimate desire is to see them Loving God and Loving People.

Children's Ministry Volunteer Opportunities:
Special Needs Ministry Buddies: are matched one-on-one with children who might need extra attention and assistance during Sunday School. An ideal Special Needs Ministry Buddy is anyone with a heart for individuals with disabilities and a desire to see them included in the body of Christ.
Sunday School Teacher: those who lead the class each week. Classes are broken down into groups of 5-15 kids based on the child's grade level. Teachers are responsible for teaching the weekly Bible lesson using a lesson plan and activities that have been prepared ahead of time for them.
Sunday School Teacher's Assistant: those who have the desire to support children’s small groups on Sunday morning but may not feel comfortable leading the group on their own Teacher's assistants help small groups run smoothly by assisting the teacher in serving snacks, helping kids with crafts etc. and can serve as substitutes when needed.
Nursery Volunteers: those that care for the infants and toddlers in the church. A nursery volunteers role is to provide safe, secure, nurturing, clean and efficient care to our age 0-2.5year old children. Responsibilities include playing with the babies, reading to them, praying for them, and showing Christ’s love through their love a patience.
*Volunteers are still needed in all areas. Primarily we are in need of volunteers for the Saturday night and the 10:30 service on Sunday mornings.
Dedicated volunteers are always welcomed for weekly services and special events. Whether you're interested in teaching classes or caring for little ones, contact Tracie.

Friends Community Church is in need of volunteers to join our list of Trustees.
As a Trustee, you will be asked on a regular basis to help maintain, fix, update, and beautify the facility. FCC is more than a building, it truly is a gift from God as a place of worship.
Who are the Trustees?
The Trustees are a group of men and women who are specifically asked to be on the committee due to their skill set in maintenance, construction, organization, and hard work.
What does a Trustee do?
Immediate repair needs
Special projects (see below)
Maintaining the facility
A facilities request (by ministry leaders) must be submitted to Darcy for a special project. The request is taken to staff for approval. Once approved, Trustees complete the project.
If you are interested in joining our team of trustees, please contact Travis. (Seasonal volunteers welcome.)
