MEET OUR STAFF

Rick has lived in the North Orange County area since he was 10 years old. He graduated from CSU Long Beach with a degree in biology and Azusa Pacific University with a Master's Degree in Divinity. He has served as a Pastor since 1990. He has a heart for the Kingdom of God and he believes, God has called his family to the ministry. Rick is married to Lani and they have three boys, Micah, Caleb, and Joshua. As a family they love God's people and the opportunity to serve them, it is then with great excitement and a humbling sense of responsibility that they shepherd Friends Community Church, Brea.


Jeremy was born and raised in Orange County, CA. He loves to be active and take part in a wide variety of sporting events. Jeremy is married to Theresa and has three children, Mia (born Sept., 2007), Chase (born May, 2009) and Honor (born Feb., 2013).

Jeremy attended Saddleback College for general studies and received his degree in Theology from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA . Jeremy has been in full time pastoral ministry since 1999.

By getting to know Jeremy you will quickly realize that he desires to see the church living out their faith with the fresh power of the Holy Spirit. He is passionate about the body of Christ being active in their faith by the way they serve the church, local community and the world. He desires to bring spiritual depth and maturity to their everyday life by the teaching of the Word of God.


Richard Miller has a BA in Religious Studies from CSU Long Beach and a Masters of Divinity from APU. Richard is married to Mackenzie and they have three children, Graham, Asher, and Avery. He enjoys hanging out with his wife and kids, riding his Vespa, playing guitar, running, watching movies and loves Youth Ministry.


Tyler was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from California Baptist University with a B.A. in Christian Studies and is currently working on his Masters of Divinity at Azusa Pacific University. Tyler is married to Tracie and they have a beautiful daughter, Ella. Tyler and Tracie love getting together with family and friends to play board games!


Kory was born and raised in North Orange County and loves living so close to the beach, the mountains and the desert. He has a BA in Psychology from Vanguard University. Kory and his wife Laura have a wonderful daughter, Reece, and a baby boy, Kowen. Kory has worked in education and youth ministry for about 10 years. He has an incredible passion for youth and sports. He praises God for the opportunity to serve our youth here at FCC and enjoys every moment God has given him.


Teddy graduated from Daystar University, Kenya with a B.A. in Communication and Azusa Pacific University with a Masters of Divinity. Teddy is married to Emily and they have a son, Judah, and a precious daughter, Audrey. They also have two good looking cats. Teddy greatly enjoys Worship Ministry and is thankful for the opportunity to lead God's people here at FCC.



Darcy is married to Ben and has 5 children, Caleb, Lindley, Lincoln, Chamberlyn and foster son KC McCann. Darcy was raised in Payson, Arizona. Darcy graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a B.A. of Liberal Studies. She has a Master's degree in Education and her teaching credential. She loves to bake and work in her garden.



Bob and Judy are blessed with two married children, and four grandchildren. He is a graduate of The Citadel, and served as a Captain in the USAF during the Viet Nam war. He retired from a career with the Union Pacific Railroad. He is ordained, and has served as associate pastor at two Orange County churches. He currently serves as a Chaplain with the Orange County Fire Authority.


Chris & his wife Barbara have 12 year old twin girls, Christina and Catherine. They have lived in Brea since 2002. Chris has been involved in ministry since he graduated from Faith Tech International Bible School in 1997. Chris previously served in ministry with Christian Services for the Blind, Church of the Good Shepherd, and Cornerstone UMC.


Sherrie has been married to Roger since 1990. They have two children, Stephanie and Michael. She enjoys camping, gardening, home improvement projects, movies, reading and anything that can be done as a family.
