Balanced Fitness

Adults 18+ Join us as we have fun and get healthy! There is no charge for this weekly balanced fitness aerobics class. Just show up with your exercise mat or towel. We will be utilizing yoga balls and balance materials as we do aerobics and resistance exercises to enhance our balance.

Step Two

REGISTER & PAY WITH FCC

This year Elaine will email parents directly with registration links and camp balances. Please keep a look out! If you have not joined the interest list see Step One.

Step Three

TURN IN AN FCC MEDICAL RELEASE FORM

Our FCC Medical Release forms need to be updated annually. If you do not already have one on file for 2017 Elaine will email you the form.

Step Four

REGISTER WITH THE CAMP

Each campsite has it’s own registration process. Elaine will send you the necessary links or paperwork depending on the campsite your child will be attending; Thousand Pines or Pinecrest Christian Conference Center.

PRAY

Please pray for the Lord to move in the hearts of the family who will be receiving the home. Also pray for the preparations, God's provision, and the safety of the team.

GIVE

Transform a house into a home by donating a few small items. Donations can be dropped off at the church office.

GO

We will spend the weekend in Mexico building a house for a family as well as putting on a VBS program for the children of the surrounding neighborhood. This is a great opportunity to experience another culture and serve the Lord by caring for a neighborhood in need.

Bless a family this year with a thanksgiving meal this holiday season. Visit the Gathering for more information on how to help.  

Two ways to help

1. Pick up a box

Pick up a box & fill with the list of items needed for a Thanksgiving meal. Boxes are available for pick up at the Gathering. Drop off boxes by Nov 19. 

Check List

  • 2 — 15 oz. cans of cut green beans
  • 2 — 15 oz. cans of whole kernel corn
  • 1 — 26 oz. can of chicken noodle soup
  • 1 — 40 oz. can of refried beans
  • 1 — 1 lb. package of whole pinto beans
  • 1 — 1 lb. box of white rice
  • 1 — 14 oz. box of instant mashed potatoes
  • 1 — 30 oz. can of fruit cocktail
  • 2 — 16 oz. cans of fruit
  • 1 — 64 oz. can of fruit juice
  • 1 — Box of biscuit, corn bread or stuffing mix
  • 1 — Box of cake, brownie or cookie mix
  • $8.00 check made payable to Canning Hunger. 100% of all financial donations are dedicated to the costs associated with food acquisitions, packaging, transportation and delivery.

Sizes are approximate slight variation are acceptable ( NO GLASS ITEMS PLEASE)

2. Give

Write a $25 dollar check payable to “Canning Hunger.” Your donation will be used to purchase the needed items for the holiday meal. Drop off checks by Nov 19.

Each cardboard box will be filled with all the trimmings for a complete Thanksgiving meal and can feed a family of 6 to 8 people with lots of leftovers.

High School Re-Think Conference

HS - RE-THINK CONFERENCE

Do you want a deeper understanding of your faith and how to defend it to others? This conference is put on to equip students with understanding and practical methods of reasoning their faith with themselves and others.

Father-Son Angel Game

What better way to spend the evening than at the ballpark? Bring your son, nephew, or grandson out to the stadium to watch the Angels dominate the Texas Rangers. The game starts at 6 pm but gates open earlier so you can watch batting practice, catch a home run ball, and get player autographs. Also, stay after the game to watch a fireworks show! Cost is $10 per ticket.
