SENIORS (O.W.L.S)

O.W.L.S. Older Wiser Livelier Seniors (Ages 55 and up)

Our goal is to have fun, while we build our faith and our friendships. We desire to serve our community, our church and our fellow senior adults.

Ecclesiastes 4:10 "If one falls down, his friend can help him up."

Please come join us the 2nd Thursday of each month for brunch, daytrips, guest speakers, fellowship and more.

Photos from our recent Christmas party & Zumba Dance instruction are in the upper left corner, photos from our recent train trip to L.A.'s Union Station (Olvera St. & China Town) are in the upper right corner, photos from our trip to the Bowers Museum are in the bottom left corner, and photos from our recent Potluck (and Pictionary game - that's a swordfish if you couldn't guess) are in the bottom right corner.

We had fun evening in April, with a Potluck and fellowship at the clubhouse of Jim & Joan Pauls (great big thank you to the Pauls). The food was great, the fellowship fantastic and the night was capped off with a fun game of Pictionary - which ended in a tie between the men & women.

Our next few events are planned:

- Thursday May 9th we will be meeting in the Children's building at church from 10 a.m. - noon for brunch and our guest speaker will be my good friend Franklin Tucker. Franklin was the long-time president of Christian Services for the Blind (a Billy Graham affiliated organization).

- Thursday June 13th, again we will be meeting at the Children's building at church from 10 a.m. - noon for brunch and our guest speaker will be Kent Walkemeyer. Kent is part of the Graduate School of Theology at Azusa Pacific and will be giving us a great

history of the Friends denomination.

- Thursday July 11th, Daytrip - Time & Place TBD.
